Animal and Plant cell similarities
1) Nucleus- contains genetic material that controls what the cell does
2) Cytoplasm- this contains various enzymes that control different chemical reactions inside the cell
3) Cell membrane- holds the cell together and is the "border control" for the cell
4) Mitochondria- these turn glucose into energy. Most energy for respiration comes from here.

Plant cell extras
1) Cell wall- made out of cellulose, this gives the cell support
2) Vacuole- contains weak solution of salts and sugar (cell sap)
3) Chloroplasts- Contain chlorophyll for the important process, photosynthesis.
